I approached a business who I knew was thinking about having a website but didn't know where to start. I asked them if they wanted me to make them a prototype website. I also revised their logo to give it a transparent background. All they gave me were photos and information about their business, and I designed this prototype website for them. They said that they really like it, and I'm now working on making it mobile friendly. They also said that they might be interested in making this their future website, but would like to do more research first.

Education

I've always loved language, so when I got introduced to the languages of coding I knew it was the carrier for me.

I earned an AA in the field of history, started my own business as an artist, and wrote some children's books... I wasn't sure what to do with my history degree, so I decided to go back to school for marketing. I had been building websites for friends and family just for fun, and I was wanting to narrow down my field of study to specialize in something. So I changed my major to Web Design and began turning my passion into my official career.

I learned HTML and CSS through BitWise WorkForce Training, and am currently trying to earn a certificate in Web Development.
